The HEALS Act is an insult to the millions of Americans who have yet to receive their promised payments from the CARES Act. The HEALS Act as proposed aims to double down on many of the CARES Act’s entitlements, including sending more $1,200 stimulus checks to hundreds of millions of Americans. But the government hasn’t even finished sending out checks from the first round of stimulus, and has millions more to go.
